I used dark chocolate cupcakes and frosted them using a round tip and white buttercream. I dipped half in white sanding sugar and the other half in pink sanding sugar.
The ears, eyes, and noses are Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips. I added candy eyes on top of the chocolate eyes (use a drop of frosting on the back of the eyes to make them stick).
The mouths are simple a chocolate sprinkle pushed into the frosting.

I bet they’d be cute in just about any color you wanted to use . . . oh! What about chocolate sanding sugar and white chocolate ears, eyes, and noses?
